Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Wrok mobile application or website (wrokapp.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Wrok is a shift scheduling and team management platform. It allows employers ("Bosses") to create workplaces, add workers, generate schedules, manage time-off requests, and communicate with their team. Workers can view their schedules, request swaps and time off, and message their team.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Boss accounts control workplace data. Worker accounts are created via invite codes issued by a boss.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Wrok offers a free tier (up to 4 workers, 1 workplace) and paid subscription plans.
• Paid subscriptions are billed through Google Play. All payments are processed by Google.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policies.
• If a subscription expires, the boss and their workers retain read-only access to existing data but cannot create new schedules or send messages.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorization
• Send spam, abusive, or harassing messages through the in-app chat
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the application
• Overload the service with automated requests or bots

6. Data Ownership

• You retain ownership of all data you enter into Wrok (schedules, worker information, messages).
• We do not claim ownership of your content.
• You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
• Bosses are responsible for the accuracy of worker data they enter and for obtaining any necessary consent from their employees.

7. Account Deletion

• Boss accounts: Deleting a boss account permanently removes all associated workplaces, workers, schedules, messages, and data.
• Worker accounts: Deactivating a worker account disables login and removes personal data. Name and work history are retained for the employer's business records.
• You can export your data before deletion using the "Download My Data" feature in Settings.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep Wrok available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

Wrok is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to scheduling errors, missed shifts, or data loss.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Croatia.
